Today we took old reliable for another spin at a local pond in Massachusetts. The Strike King Bitsy Bug is a weedless finesse jig that absolutely slays largemouth bass in early spring when the bite is subtle. We fished the wind-blown side because bait get blown to the shallows, and boy did it pay out! There was a 15 minute window when the bite was totally automatic - we got 4 solid hits all on jigs. #shorts
