Hey, in this video my friend and professional triathlete Richard Westover completes his gym session to give you some insight into the exercises he uses as well as sets, reps and tempo.
The full workout is as follows:
Notation: A1, A2, A3 etc. means these are "supersets" so each exercise is done in a circuit with little or no rest. So Rich will do one set of the four exercises then go back round to A1 again.
A1 RLESS 3 x 12
A2 Dumbbell Bench Press 3 x 12
A3 Barbell Bicep Curls 3 x 12
A4 Calf Raises 3 x 15
B1 Deadlift 4 x 10
B2 Swiss Ball Hamstring Curls 3 x 15
B3 Dumbbell Pullovers 3 x 12
B4 Lying Tricep Extensions 3 x 10
Incline Dumbbell Row 3 x 12
Three Way Shoulder Raise – 3 x 10
Ab Circuit 1-2 x 4 minutes
