This is a calm, unhurried Betwixmas walk through my plant room, filmed in real winter conditions, exactly as things are right now. No fixes. No teaching agenda. No pressure to improve anything.

Just a quiet check-in.

In this video, I move slowly through a few areas of my home, looking at how my tropical houseplants are actually behaving during winter. Some leaves look rough. Some plants are quietly fine. Some are doing nothing at all, which honestly, can be a good sign.

If you’ve been feeling low-level anxiety about your plants at this time of year, wondering whether you should be doing more, watering more, adjusting more… this video is here to sit with you in that feeling.

Winter slowdown is normal.

You’ll see real plants, in real homes, under natural light, with minimal cuts and no performance. I talk honestly about what I’m noticing, what I’m choosing not to interfere with, and why that’s often okay.
