Burnt Cheesecake with Pistachio Spread | Creamy & Irresistible Basque Cheesecake Recipe
If you're a cheesecake lover, this Burnt Cheesecake with Pistachio Spread is a must-try! This Basque-style cheesecake has a rich, creamy texture, a perfectly caramelized top, and a luscious pistachio flavor that takes it to the next level. No crust, no water bath, just pure indulgence!
Ingredients:
• 560 g cream cheese
• 100g granulated sugar
• 3 eggs + 3 egg yolks
• 250 ml double cream
• 2 tbsp pistachio spread
Instruction:
• heat the oven at 200C
• lay 2 sheets of baking paper over a 8 inches cake pan and press down the paper into the pan, make sure the paper is sticking out above the edge
• beat the cream cheese and sugar together, add the eggs ,double cream and pistachio spread
• combine all the ingredients in a large bowl
• pour into the lined pan and bake for 45 minutes
• once cooked, the cheesecake should be deeply caramelised on the outside but still wobble in the middle
