A look at this classic kit of the worlds first true Ground effect (or 'wing car') in F1, run during the 1977 & part of '78 season, The Lotus 78...a design the harnessed the Bernoulli principle of using air underneath a (wing) shaped surface to create a venturi tunnel & generate negative lift (i.e DOWNFORCE).
