Thoughts: These are the Clackbits. Long-pole switches designed by Clackbait and KNC Keys. The goal of these switches was to have a portion of the profit go to charity, which was heartwarming and wholesome. For that reason alone, it gets brownie points. However, I'm not here to talk about charity. I'm here to talk about the switch itself.
To be quite honest with you. They sound really nice. Of the previous long-pole switches I've tried, these have a full sound and don't sound annoying after an extended duration. In addition, it has a very comfortable typing experience with the spring weight and double-stage (though I still prefer single-stage).
Combined with the POM plate from P3D, You have an absolute banger of a combination, and all the mod keys sound fantastic. It makes sense for 68 cents a switch given the complete POM design, and not all of the profit is going to the company, but I would definitely use a discount code for 5% off. That brings it to 65 cents a switch which is the highest amount a switch could probably get away with costing.
Would I keep it in my Hiro? Yes, absolutely. But I don't know if it changed my mind about long poles yet. It's not the sound getting to me, but the shorter travel I'm not used to yet. If it weren't for that, I would use it every day. However, this switch is excellent and sounds full if you like shorter travel.
In other channel news, I would like to thank Kinetic Labs and KNC Keys for now working with the channel and allowing me to join their affiliate program. If you want to support the channel, I have their links in the description. For the Clackbits, if you buy them off KNC Keys, you can use code "jaded" for 5% off.
I forgot to say it in the thoughts, but these are incredibly smooth and don't suffer from any stem wobble. It does not move at all.
