A common misconception regarding online teaching is that the only way you can do it is by working for Chinese companies such as DadaABC, VIPKID, or 51Talk, teaching Chinese children on Beijing time.

However, teaching adults with Italki is a great way of becoming an Online English Teacher if you do not feel comfortable teaching children.
