Framework for a Direct Representation Government

Описание: Framework for a Direct Representation Government

Produced by Raz McGoo Essays

This video explores a new model of democracy: Direct Representation. Instead of casting a single vote for a candidate, citizens pledge their support to a representative. Each representative carries the voting authority of the citizens pledged to them, so when they vote in Parliament, their influence reflects the number of pledges they hold. That pledge authority also extends to appropriations, giving citizens a direct impact on how resources are allocated.
Direct Representation is not fixed in stone — it is a framework meant to evolve through dialogue, pluralism, and collaboration.
