Описание: Once these women deliver we monitor them closely, their BP chart will be maintained and if the BP is elevated, then the medicines that she was taking before or start a new set of medicines and continue it. If her condition is normal then she is discharged but we advise her to continue monitoring of the BP at home and maintain a chart of it and keep a daily chart and she has to come back to the doctor and the number of visits after delivery is going to be maintain, weekly visits are done. Usually the BP comes back to normal in few days or few weeks after delivery or within 3 months. So if the BP comes back to normal in 3 months then we know it is a case of gestational hypertension or it is a case of preeclampsia and it is normalized but we warn the woman that she is at risk of developing preeclampsia in the nest pregnancy or developing BP at sometime later in life and even the cardiovascular risk is gong to increase. So some lifestyle changes are advised, Tell her to regular exercise. If the BP in pregnancy is due to chronic hypertension, then it is not going to normalize. So she has to continue taking the medicines even 3 months after delivery.
