This video support students preparing for RCM Level 9 exams in piano, violin, and viola. When it comes to the interval tests, it's the same for Level 8 and Level 9. So if you've gone through the Level 8 exam, it should be straightforward for you.
Identify intervals as one of the following:
major 2nd , minor 2nd
major 3rd , minor 3rd
perfect 4th
Augmented 4th/diminished 5th
perfect 5th
major 6th , minor 6th
major 7th , minor 7th
perfect octave
Each interval will be played in melodic form (ascending or descending) followed by harmonic form once.
