During the Shattering War, Radahn became the commander of the Redmane Army, distinguishing himself in countless battles and earning the reputation of one of the greatest generals in history.

However, his fate took a tragic turn after a desperate clash with Malenia, who unleashed the Scarlet Rot during their battle, infecting Radahn and driving him mad. Neither of them emerged victorious from that encounter.

Reduced to a mindless beast, Radahn now roams the desolate region of Caelid, laying waste to everything in his path. In an effort to end his suffering, the legendary Festival of Radahn is held summoning warriors from across the lands with a single purpose: to grant him an honorable death.
