Mount Edwards, elevation 13,860’, is a Centennial 13er in the Front Range of Colorado near the town of Montezuma. The drive to the Argentine Pass Trailhead involves 4.5 miles of dirt road for which an AWD/4WD vehicle is recommended. We camped overnight at a designated disperse site about 1.5 miles from the TH, and pulled into the TH around 7:30 the next morning. It had snowed a day ago and there was still a few inches of snow on trail most of the way, which made the hike a bit more challenging than usual. The weather couldn’t be any nicer however and there was almost no wind and visibility was excellent. The views along the way, especially above the saddle, were fantastic, and we could see many 14ers/13ers in the distance. It was also quite deserted and we only ran into one other solo hiker with his dog on this Saturday. Total stats: 7.6 miles with 2770’ elevation gain
