Male arrives at the nest and calls out to let mate know he is there. She arrives soon after. He does some nestorations while she watches and provides some directions.
A minute later they decide to mate and he flies off. The females spends about 22 minutes by herself at the nest before the male returns. She does some calling and grooming during this time. You can occasionally hear the distance response to her calls.
When the male returns to the perch and she at the nest, they have a conversation for
Female flies to the perch and continues chatting with mate. Male decides to fly after 28 minutes of chit chat. Female flies off 3 minutes later.
This event was 57 minutes long. It has been edited down to about 32 minutes whereby views of the owl(s) were about motionless or silent has been removed.
