I had been searching for this kinda rare piece of JDM tuning history from the early 2000s for quite some time and after having no luck online, I randomly stumbled upon one during my first time in Japan at an UpGarage used-parts-store!
Made by Power Enterprise, the CAMCON EX is a fuel mixture, cam angle and VTEC controller with additional functions like data logging, rpm gauge and shift light. In this video I am showing all it's functions as well as the testing I did using it on my 2004 Toyota MR-S (MR2 W3/ Spyder).
One important benefit of an ECU like the CAMCON (which can adjust the VVTi) could also be to improve the drivability and really dial in a car which is equipped with aftermarket camshafts!
