In this video you will learn what are linear control systems and how can you check that a particular control system is linear or non-linear.
This video is about linear control systems. The linear control systems are those that follow the principle of superposition. Principle of superposition has two parts. The additivity and homogenity of control system. Additivity requires that when inputs are added before applying to a control system, their output should be sum of the outputs of that system when same inputs are applied individually. The principle of homogenity means that if an input r(t) produces an output y(t), then if we multiply the input with a scalar K, the resultant out should also be multiplied by the same value K if we apply Kr(t) to the system.
This control systems engineering course is for students of graduate and postgraduate level who are taking control systems as one of their subjects, or for someone who want to pursue their career in electrical engineering, mechatronics engineering, mechancal engineering or telecommunication engineering.
