Where the debut "Sob o manto da noite" leaned more into a ceremonial framing, this EP steps forward with its fists bare, gripping the lineage of 90s black metal not as a museum relic but as a living ember, still capable of searing the skin. The solo Brazilian entity refines its vision here, paring away adornment until the core is exposed.

The most immediate transformation lies in the treatment of synthesisers. Once luminous and structural, they now retreat, appearing only as faint vapours behind the guitars, not even granted the ceremonial authority of an intro or outro. This absence is itself expressive, as it creates a harsher air in which the music advances without softening its contours, allowing each riff to bite while preserving a sense of forward momentum and enough compositional clarity.

The songwriting unfolds with renewed ferocity, its power compounding as the record progresses. The latter half in particular reveals a more articulate guitar proficiency, as tremolos sharpen and mid‑paced passages widening into fierce blackened melodies.

Taken in perspective with "Sob o manto da noite", the evolution is stark, the two releases feel as different hours of the same night, the first bathed in moonlit mist, the second choked by incense smoke.
