Описание: Does duration matter? Current guidelines weakly recommend temperature control for 72 hours after out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, based on low certainty of evidence of benefit. In a randomized trial just published in NEJM, researchers in Denmark randomly assigned almost 400 comatose patients resuscitated after out-of-hospital cardiac arrest to either 36 or 72 hours of temperature management. @nejm
