Here we have a track that will introduce a mixture of Major 7 chords with Minor 7. If you have previously listened and practiced to the Ionian and Dorian, and even Lydian jam tracks on the FusionJamTracks channel, now you can apply what you have learned to this track. Try to play over the bar line! (Connect your phrases and ideas through more than one chord with out taking a coffee break in between ;-)

An important thing to note about this track, is that it goes through various lengths of the chord changes, in order to help your progression. Sometimes it will go through the order fast, sometimes, it will give you extra time on each chord. Pay attention to the on-screen chord changes for reference.

You will also notice, the chords change to other chords which are very nearby, a semitone or half step to be exact. This can help you connect your phrases, knowing that you could just move your line a half step in the direction that the chord is going, and you will have played through the changes! I also find it very helpful to play through the 4 note arpeggio of each chord, as they change. Ascending and Descending.

A simple start for those who are modally challenged.... Play minor pentatonic on the m7 chords, and major pentatonic on the maj7 chords (for the key of the chord...Dm7 = Dm pentatonic, Cmaj7 = C maj pentatonic, etc)
