Under Control - An OCD Film

Описание: College student Jeannie is stunned when she encounters a mysterious Doppelganger of herself, whom no one can see except her. When the Doppelganger’s efforts to protect Jeannie begin instead to control her, however, she must work to resist the suggestions of the creature before they start to hold her back from life’s most basic human experiences.

Directed by Chloe Rodgers and starring Allie Dever and Maddie Rohan, this short film seeks to accurately represent the lived experience of suffering from OCD, a frequently stereotyped and misrepresented mental illness which can overwhelm the lives of its sufferers if left untreated. We hope that OCD warriors feel seen by this film, and we thank all of our viewers who have taken this opportunity to learn about this frequently misunderstood condition.
