Apart from Allen, there are possibilities that Jimmy Neesham and Lockie Ferguson, who weren't ready for the previous T20I, could make it to the XI, as this is the last professional game for both sides ahead of the marquee event, while Michael Bracewell is yet to feature in this series after sustaining a minor calf strain in the third and final ODI.

India have already bagged the series 3-1. They dominated the first three games to seal the deal. However, they fell short by 50 runs in the last T20I, with the Mitchell Santner-led side keeping the home team quiet in Vizag.
