While I do like the older version and how the missiles entered the target area, that method unfortunately caused significant lag whenever it was used. Even though the performance drop only lasted a few seconds, it was still pretty bad, with FPS sometimes dipping below 10 fps

This new version should not only look better but also perform much more smoothly
