Some strats that helped me:
use characters you are comfy with, and know how to gut punch with them
use the gut punch strat to bait out super counters; if he has 2, he WILL super counter
when the super counter has been baited, abuse the one thing he lacks here and that’s being incapable of vanishing the subsequent combo
try to finish the initial combo with a follow up dash
try to finish the follow up dash with a rush attack; I found beams are 9/10 times blocked
use buffs as able when able
also, not sure if it’s just me but trying to do a step in extension at least with Gotenks he was able to side step it and take my back
phase 1: the stomp is unblockable so try to be moving vertically when he’s close. If being knocked away vanish it at the last second.
phase 2: can now block the stomp. Ultimate can be dodged with good timing.
phase 3: stomp replaced with aoe, can be blocked
all phases: when he is in sparking, you really want to time it out with the gut punches and forcing super counters so that the gauge drains while he’s being knocked around
