Canadian winters and snowmobiling go hand in hand, and sledders in south eastern Manitoba are being called upon in support of the seventh annual "Sled For Eternity" event. The annual pledge ride happens this Saturday, January 25th and is a major fundraiser for the non-profit group Teen Challenge, a faith based, in-house addictions treatment program founded back in 1958.
Daniel Emond is the Development Director for the Central Canada Region of Teen Challenge, an organization that's been helping young people overcome addiction for many decades. Daniel has been employed with Teen Challenge for the past seven years, and like many of his colleagues on staff, was at one time a student in the program.
