The session was organized by the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of Parul University in association with the Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) as a part One Day “Lecture on National Startup day” on 16th January, 2024 for the students of Parul University. The session was taken by Ms. Kinjal Popat.
Objective:
● Promote Entrepreneurship Education: Encourage the integration of entrepreneurship education in schools and universities to foster a culture of innovation and risk-taking from an early age.
● Support Startup Ecosystems: Develop initiatives to support the growth of startup ecosystems, including providing access to funding, mentorship, and resources for aspiring entrepreneurs.
● Celebrate Success Stories: Highlight and celebrate successful startups and entrepreneurs, showcasing their achievements and sharing their stories to inspire others and demonstrate the potential of entrepreneurship.
● Foster Collaboration: Facilitate networking events, workshops, and collaborations between startups, investors, policymakers, and industry experts to exchange ideas, forge partnerships, and address challenges collectively.
Outcomes:
● Increased Awareness: The lecture could increase awareness among attendees about the importance of startups in driving innovation, creating jobs, and contributing to economic growth. Attendees may gain insights into the challenges and opportunities faced by startups.
● Inspiration and Motivation: The lecture could inspire and motivate aspiring entrepreneurs by sharing success stories, practical advice, and lessons learned from experienced entrepreneurs and industry experts. Attendees may feel empowered to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams with renewed enthusiasm.
● Networking Opportunities: The lecture could provide valuable networking opportunities for attendees to connect with fellow entrepreneurs, investors, mentors, and other stakeholders in the startup ecosystem.
