Gabe Alves - Delirious WEST 200 Miler 2024

Описание: The Delirious WEST 200 Miler is in the South West corner of Western Australia and is an incredible trail race along the world famous Bibbulmun Track for 340km from Northcliffe to Albany.

The event run by Ultra Series WA is an amazing week of camaraderie and coming together of runners, crews and event organisers to provide an unforgettable experience.

This is the story of my first time doing this event in February 2024.

I filmed it using an Insta360 X3 that I carried with me, my son Zac used an Insta360 Ace Pro and also a DJI drone. We also sourced other footage from various peoples phones. :)

This film has been made with a few purposes in mind:

1st is to provide a way for me (Gabe) to remember the event, the amazing locations, and the emotional roller coaster - so I have included more footage than I normally would when making a film like this as I really wanted to capture the essence of my experience. Hence it's longer running time. (pun intended :) )

2nd is to provide a view of the amazing trail. This is a part of the world that there really isn't a lot of footage around (that I've been able to find), so I really wanted to showcase the incredible scenery and what a breathtaking part of the world this really is.

I loved this event so much, and I can't wait to do it again next year!
