Back in 2019, I decided to help kickstart a SNES-styled RPG called Kingdoms of the Dump. I was drawn in by the pitch, which was basically: “Kingdoms of the Dump is designed to evoke the 90's JRPG flavor, we have incorporated adventure and platforming inspirations as well as modern design innovations to the genre.”
This sounded right up my wheelhouse! You all know I love my RPGs, and the setting being a trash-filled world inspired by the developers jobs as janitors was just too good not to support.
Now it’s 2025, the game is finally out, and I couldn’t be more excited to see and play the final result!
