Watch the installation of a skewed 6400mm x 1600mm precast concrete box culvert supplied by DECAST and installed by Graham Bros. for a City of Toronto municipal infrastructure project. These culverts were also manufactured with integrated approach slab seats, ensuring accurate alignment, efficient load transfer, and long-term durability and minimizing construction time required on site.
This roadway culvert was designed to accommodate a native stream, providing efficient gravity-flow stormwater conveyance for large volumes of runoff. The system is well suited for stream crossing applications where maintaining the natural stream bed is not required.
