Usually I follow to customers wishes- this time Benedetto body shape. Tonewoods: Italian spruce top with x bracing, back and ribs made of flamed maple. Naturally seasoned several years. Size: width about 43.5cm, body thickness about 75 mm. Rosewood for headvenner, fingerboard, tailpiece and pickguard.
Scale 635mm, nut 43mm. Neck is laminated ( 3 pieces as usually) , BUT without lenght joint at 'nut' or at 14 fret. I use Stainless Steel frets, 2.8mm wide.
Pickup: Kent Armstrong, handwound adjustable single coil. Switch and thumbwheel controls are mounted under the pickguard.
Strings: DAddario EJ21 (nickel roundwound 012).
