Housing Works Bookstore: This non-profit New York City bookstore has been around for almost 3 decades and also has a thrifted clothing and housewares section.
Nearly all of the books are donated, and 100% of profits go to lifessving services in New York City
In addition to a ton of books at affordable prices, there’s also a full floor of thrifted clothing and a houseware section
You can also check out the café in the back with affordable coffee and drinks at night
they host a ton of events here!
There is a no laptop policy and no Wi-Fi so this is definitely a spot to get a book, grab a coffee or attend one of their events to support an amazing organization.
