This was an older test, but the idea is the same. We've done a slight name change, as well.
Pro PLA is now Tough Pro PLA+
Standard PLA is now Standard PLA+
One of the big questions we often get about Tough Pro PLA+ is about heat resistance, especially in a scenario like a hot car.
You can gain the maximum heat resistance by annealing your 3D print (furthest print from a camera), but that's not always practical or feasible to do, especially as the part shrinks 1-2% during the annealing process and needs to be tightly constrained in gypsum or salt flour to reduce warping.
But, even without annealing, you can see that the Tough Pro PLA+ part resists heat much better than the Standard PLA+ (nearest to the camera). In some ways, in this test, the Tough Pro PLA+ part (middle part) is partially annealing in the temperature ramp-up. This is why customers state that it can work great even in a hot car in the desert of Arizona!
