The story follows Fikayo Holloway, a young woman born into high society privilege in Lagos. Despite her family’s connections, she is determined to make a name for herself as a serious investigative journalist rather than following her parents' wishes to join the family business.
Her life takes a dark turn when she begins investigating a shadowy crime ring. What starts as a professional pursuit becomes deeply personal when the ring’s atrocities claim the life of her best friend, Venita. As Fikayo digs deeper, she discovers the criminal system is built on power, blood, and silence, involving people she never suspected—including those close to her.
