MLinkPlanner calculates path availability for point-to-point and point-to-multipoint links in accordance with the ITU-R P.530 Recommendation.
Before start the calculation, you must enter all parameters of the equipment. For point-to-point links the equipment parameters for the selected hop must be entered for each site of the hop in Site A and Site B tab.
For the point-to-multipoint link availability calculation, necessary to specify the location of each of the subscriber stations, specify to which base station each subscriber station relates, and enter all necessary detailed parameters of base stations and subscriber stations.
To start the calculation, click Report and a calculation report will come up. You can switch between the short report view and the full report view. The short report displays only calculation results;
The full report displays input parameters, calculation results, path profile drawing and path profile diagram on the map.
The base station performance summary report for the point-to-multipoint link provides a summary of the maximum usable modulation modes of all Links for the Minimum Annual availability.
You can print the report or save it as PDF, Microsoft Word or Excel.
