An argument from ignorance is “the assumption of a conclusion or fact based primarily on lack of evidence to the contrary.” This argument is common in many arenas of public discourse.
Bill O'Reilly tries to justify his belief in god to David Silverman by stating Mr Silverman can't explain why the tides go in and out hence god must do it... Great logic right?
