Farmers Face Problems at Paddy Procurement Centres in Vikarabad

Описание: Farmers in Parigi are expressing serious concerns over the lack of proper facilities at paddy procurement centres. Farmers from several villages allege that they are facing severe hardships due to the shortage of warehouses and gunny bags required for storing harvested paddy.

With no adequate storage arrangements available, many farmers are reportedly forced to keep their produce in the open and guard it day and night to protect it from damage and theft. Farmers also claim that paddy stocks have not been purchased even after waiting for nearly 15 days.

The affected farmers are urging officials to respond immediately, arrange minimum basic facilities at procurement centres, and begin the procurement process without further delay. The issue has once again highlighted challenges faced by farmers during the procurement season in Telangana.
