Meet Fedneys Park, Old Gold Racing's horse in training with Henry De Bromhead!

Описание: Fedneys Park is a very exciting 5-year-old mare, and Old Gold Racing’s first racehorse based in Ireland.

She was purchased at the Tattersalls Cheltenham January Sale for 82,000gns and is now under the guidance of the remarkable Henry de Bromhead.

As of February 2025, Mr de Bromhead has had no fewer than 23 Cheltenham Festival winners, including two Cheltenham Gold Cups, two Champion Hurdles and four Queen Mother Champion Chases. He also won the 2021 Grand National with Minella Times, ridden by stable jockey, Rachael Blackmore.

Fedneys Park won a competitive Point-to-Point at Carrigarostig by a comfortable six lengths earlier this year. Making all, she jumped with plenty of promise and caught the eye of many there that day.

Fedneys Park’s sire, Walk In The Park, has really made a name for himself at stud, where he stands under the Coolmore banner. He has produced countless top level winners, many of which have had success at the major meetings. Some of his best performers include Douvan, Jonbon, Facile Vega and Min. He earned the title of Champion National Hunt Stallion for the 23/24 season.

Henry was particularly taken with Fedneys Park’s breeding (read more below) and feels she was “very well bought”. He loves the way she went about her Point-to-Point win in January and is convinced that “we’re going to have a lot of fun with her”. He added that "I'm delighted with her; we were really lucky to get her".
