You can not pit until 5 minutes have passed during a pursuit.
When pitting, don’t do it over 80 mph.
Call into dispatch and say, “(Call Sign) requesting pit, [traffic conditions], and [weather condition].”
If you are granted permission, go for the pit. Pit with your front bumper into their back tire. Don’t slam into them, slightly push them.
When they spin around, follow through and loop back to position your car either at the front bumper or the back bumper to block him.
Proceed to order the occupant out by gunpoint.
Proceed to the arrest procedure.
In order to hit a motorcycle lethal/deadly force must be authorized or your life and the lives of other officers must be in danger.
