When the economy is volatile, traffic at thrift stores tends to go up. The Bibles for Missions Thrift Center in Crystal has seen an increase in donations and sales. Store manager Ronn Kreps says he’s seen a 50 percent increase in sales over the last two years. “Between COVID and the economy and everything going on, it’s been very much of an increase,” said Kreps.
