Delhi terror conspiracy case: Eight suspects have been arrested in connection with an alleged plot linked to foreign handlers, according to police sources.
Six of the accused were detained from different parts of Tamil Nadu and are being brought to Delhi for further interrogation. Sources indicated that some of those arrested are Bangladeshi nationals. Two others were picked up earlier during follow-up action.
Security agencies had issued an alert following intelligence inputs about possible threats near the Red Fort. Preliminary investigation suggests suspected links with Pakistan’s ISI and the Pakistan-based outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
Authorities said multiple mobile phones and SIM cards were recovered during searches, and central agencies are assisting in the probe.
