In this video we are going to show you how to make piped sweet dough. Very popular tulumba recipe. You’ll like this very delicious fried doughs also you can eat this with honey. Tulumba or bamiyeh is a deep fried dessert found in Iran and ottoman cuisine. Tulumba dessert is a special type of drought fried and then soaked in sugar syrup. It is a fried batter soaked in syrup, similar to jalebis or churros. It is made from unleavened choux pastry dough piped with a pastry bag using an open star or similar tip. crunchy on outside soft and juicy on the inside.


INGREDIENTS

SUGAR SYRUP
***************
One cup sugar
One cup water
2 Tablespoons lemon juice

TULUMBA SWEET DOUGH
***************************
1 cup Water
1 tablespoon Butter
1 cup Flour
1 Tablespoon cornflour
1 Tablespoon semolina
1 whole egg
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
oil for fry

Tips & Tricks when making Tulumba dessert
********************************************
🔴 Sugar Syrup should have a little close to honey consistency, must have cooled down.

🔴 The dough must cool before putting the eggs into the dough. (If the dough is hot, the eggs are cooked and the dough will not rise)

🔴 Fry Tulumba in medium flame. Never mix before browning. Its shape is distorted.
