Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom takes an imaginative but simple concept, and fleshes it out into a worthwhile and endearing title that's bound to satisfy hardcore fans of the genre. If you're the type of gamer who collected every single moon in Mario Odyssey and was still hungry for more, it's a fun and nostalgic time that will frequently leave you cackling when you realize its inspirations. Unfortunately, I think a few late-game stumbles will hinder the experience for more casual players, but that shouldn't stop them from giving it a shot anyway. Once their foot is on the pedal, they'll probably be hooked just like I was.
