#Gravity and what we understand of it now.
Almost 340 years after Isaac Newton’s formulation of the universal law of gravity and 111 years after Albert Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity, we understand Gravity quite well as one of the four fundamental forces of nature. And yet it continues to mystify us as an exquisitely subtle phenomenon as well as for its universality.
One of the high-profile physicists who studies Gravity among other subjects is Professor Claudia de Rahm. Dr. Rham is a theoretical physicist at Imperial College London, who specializes in Quantum Field Theory, Gravity, Gravitational Waves, Cosmology, Particle Physics, Numerical Simulations and Theoretical Mathematical Physics.
Lately, she has also become a much sought after speaker at conferences and media conversations. She spoke to MCR from London.
On a personal note, I am in the midst of writing a book about Gravity, a force that has fascinated me for decades.
