Funny Buzzer! Modded Montgomery Hydraulic Freight Elevator @ Sears - The Florida Mall in Orlando, FL

Since the passenger elevator was modded here at this Sears store, I wanted to check out the freight elevator here for a couple of reasons. 1: I was hoping the freight would still be original, as I was suspecting it would have A-Series, and 2: I wanted to say I rode a freight elevator in a Sears.

Sadly, I found this thing only to see it had been completely modernized, unlike the slap on mod the passenger elevator received. I have no idea who did this modernization, but they used Innovation Bruiser fixtures and newer Courion doors (so maybe Schindler?). When this thing is being used, people definitely know it is being used. The doors on this thing are SUPER loud, especially in the car itself. In addition, this has a hilarious airport baggage claim like buzzer with a light you'd tend to see with that kind of thing. It gives me serious vibes of the famous "annoying" freight elevator at the King of Prussia mall. This thing definitely made some questionable noises, but it gets the job done at the end of the day. It's a shame this got modernized, as this would've been very fun to ride had it been original.
