Nerdrum Open House in Paris 2013

Описание: In April of 2013 the Painter Odd Nerdrum opened his home and studio in Paris to visitors. There were over 100 paintings by Nerdrum on display and there was a special concert performed which was arranged by and included a special piece by composer Martin Romberg to accompany Nerdrum's painting, To the Lighthouse.

The musical piece in this video, titled Mandos, was composed by Martin Romberg and features the pianist Aimo Pagin.

This video combines footage from the opening of the event with still photographs of the exhibition as well as many of Nerdrum's paintings which were on display.

CRIME and REFUGE, the new book of Nerdrum's work was released at the opening as well. The forwards to the book are written by authors Hanne Nabintu Herland (behind the book RESPEKT) and Gregory David Roberts, who is known for his novel SHANTARAM.
