Koinex Phishing Attack: How to Protect Your Koinex Exchange Account?

Описание: Koinex has just reported a phishing attack targeted at its users. A fake Koinex ad has been running on all Koinex-related searches on Google. If an user clicks on the ad link, he/she is taken to a website which looks similar to the official Koinex website. If users are not careful, they risk exposing sensitive information such as user id and password data to the scammers. While the phishing website looks similar, there are subtle differences if you look carefully. The word 'koinex' is spelt wrongly as 'kqinex' in the URL, along with inconsistencies in the website certificate.

We request users to bookmark the official Koinex website and use the official mobile apps if possible. Always double-check the URLs while accessing the website. If anything seems off, please report to Koinex. Also, please ensure that you have set up Google 2FA or SMS 2FA to add an additional layer of security to your exchange account and protect your funds. Please do share this video among your friends so that they can avoid falling prey to such a scam.
