Thomas DiNanno, under secretary for arms control and international security: “China remains on track to have over 1,000 nuclear warheads by 2030, and Russia is supporting this buildup.”

Preparations are mounting ahead of a possible attack on Taiwan. The United States has successfully tested new attack drones as it strengthens military cooperation with Taiwan. Meanwhile, China is unveiling new hypersonic missiles.
