(John Petrie) (Super Car Clinic) is a Legend in the world of Drag Racing---especially across Canada. After two years of running a funny car for Ford, 1969 marked the year he returned to the mighty Mopar. Attending his first (Performance Clinic) in 1965, (John) formally wrote to Chrysler Canada in 1966 to represent their performance line of Mopars and conduct clinics of his own. They agreed. He began traveling across Canada racing Mopars and conducting clinics promoting their products by discussing how to properly tune, Increase performance, and convert streetcars for the track. He'd discuss track safety, local events, and even answer questions regarding Ford, Chevy, or Pontiacs, to the best of his ability. Petrie's clinics quickly became very successful. Even the most ardent racer or race fan could learn a thing or two from his professional experience passionately funneled into his clinics.

(John Petrie) Started Racing at the age of 19 with a 1959 Plymouth Sport Fury.
