The controversial labour law amendments in Zimbabwe

Описание: There is still no consensus between government, opposition parties, labour and the private sector since the tabling of controversial labour law amendments in Zimbabwe's parliament. The amendments are meant to end massive job losses resulting from a July 17 constitutional court ruling relaxing firing laws. The bill is proposing two weeks wages for every year worked and includes a clause which provides exemptions for employers who cannot afford to pay.
