Under the Tribhuvan University four engineering campus Thapathali campus is one of the pioneer campus. There are five programs in Bachelors with a total of 288 students being enrolled in all faculties. From the past two years Thapathali Campus have been running MSC in earthquake engineering and from next year the college is about conducting masters in Design and Manufacture under Mechanical engineering. The college gives special focus on poor underprivileged students from all over Nepal providing them Engineering degree at minimal cost and producing engineering manpower which our country needs the most. Thapathali Campus conduct auto mobile engineering and industrial engineering which is the new course in Nepal and no other colleges run this program except Thapathali Engineering Campus. The college provide students with research oriented programs and make them do intern in their final semester which make them ready for the market. The college train the teachers for effective and practical teaching. Thapathali Engineering College always have been focusing in improving the quality of its education and planning to add more masters level programs according to the demand of the market. The college make the teachers and students do more research in engineering and bringing the best output.
