What to plant right NOW - June Seeds To Sow

Описание: Here is everything you can start from seed right now during the month of June for garden zones 8 and up. These are my favorite heat tolerant crops.

*CAUTION on the cucumbers, melons, and squashes* You can start seeds for them now BUT the worms and diseases will quickly eat up or kill your seedlings. They love tender baby seedlings. So to be successful with these crops during the summer, I strongly suggest you start these seeds in doors so you can control the situation better and improve the chances that these seedlings will grow to a nice transplant size. Transplant them out in about 6-8 weeks. They will be bigger more mature plants by this point and can handle the pest/disease pressure better. But you will still need to spray with BT for the worms or 1 cup hydrogen peroxide for the leaf diseases. If your worried that you cant keep up with babying these crops during the summer, then wait to direct sow seeds at the very end of summer for a fall crop. I'm just being honest here - its possible to grow them during the summer but just know it will take some extra TLC.
