The Cholula pyramid is the world's largest pyramid! The base is 4 times larger as the Pyramid of Giza in Egypt. The state of Puebla in Mexico is home to this pyramid and many beautiful churches. The church built on top of the pyramid is the Santuario de la Virgen de los Remedios, but there are other beautiful churches in Cholula (and Puebla) like the Templo de San Francisco de Acatepec and the Parroquia de San Pedro. Unfortunately the ruins were closed during our visit this year in 2021, but we have been before so we included earlier footage of the ruins.
